Returns, Repairs Or Exchanges:
Shipping charges are not refundable.
For some of our items, returns within 30 days may be possible, but restocking fees may apply and customers are responsible for all shipping charges each way. For example, the cork flooring, in full cartons only, has a 20% manufacture restocking fee. The organic sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases in brand new condition have a 20-25% restocking fee. Other items may have a restocking fee as well. It is up to the manufacture to determine whether an item can be returned, exchanged, or repaired. Wool carpeting, wool rugs, wool padding, and rug grippers are made to order and are not returnable. If approved, they must be received back in brand new condition and you must receive approval from our customer service department before sending it back. Where the item is sent to depends on what was returned. Please email us to request approval. This is not available on custom made items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping charges are not refundable. There are also no returns on discontinued items, clearance or closeout items.
Mattresses & Furniture:
Most of our furniture and mattresses are made to order. Before purchasing our products, it is very important that you take the time to make sure that you are selecting the right style, firmness, and type of product. If you need help, our customer service department would be happy to help you determine your best options. Your questions are always welcome. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. We do not warranty allergies. With the exception of the 30 day comfort exchange policy for the mattresses, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges on products that have been used.
Most of our mattresses, with the exception of custom made mattresses, come with a 30 day comfort exchange policy (the same policy can be found at both: http://ecochoices.com/ecobedroom/1/beds/warranty.html and http://www.ecochoices.com/resources/1/beds/warranty.html ). If you find that you have selected the wrong firmness or style of mattress, you can exchange the mattress within 30 days for one that would better suit your needs. (Custom mattresses not included: custom mattress include but are not limited to custom sizes, hearth shaped, and round shaped beds.) Customers are responsible for box and actual shipping charges, each way. Custom mattresses cannot be exchanged.
Since we cannot resell beds and bedding by federal law, and we do not mark up our products high enough to cover the costs of having to throw away goods because of someone changing their mind after they receive them, we have had develop a no returns policy on bedding. Federal laws on returning bedding products are similar to returning underwear. Our return policies are as lenient as the manufactures allow. The only exception with this return policy would be in the unlikely event of manufactures' defects. It is up to the manufacture to decide whether they repair or replace an item. So please make sure that you want the product before ordering it. We have tried to add as many details about our products to help make your decisions easier. Please contact our customer service department if you need help deciding what would work best for you.
Exchanges will only be made in the unlikely event of defective goods or if we shipped the incorrect item. If you have an item with a defect, please contact our customer service department to get instructions on getting your item exchanged.
There are no returns or exchanges on custom made items, or used items. Item(s) made to order cannot be canceled once the factory has begun making the item(s). All furniture, mattresses, most of the bedding items, carpeting, etc., are items that are made to order. All sales are final.
